Mattie Porter
Community Manager

Originally from Philadelphia, Matt got his start in the building trades through vocational school, which led to his first maintenance role with a company that housed UPenn students. After just 2.5 years, he advanced to a property supervisor position, gaining over 4 years of experience in maintenance and property housing.
In his free time, Matt enjoys listening to Oldies music and playing video games. He is particularly skilled in painting and drywall, areas where he has honed his expertise over time. Matt finds inspiration in solving problems and piecing things together, which fuels his passion for maintenance work.
Josh McCall
Maintenance Technician
Josh McCall is a Maintenance Technician at College Station, 551, and Polk. Originally from Langhorne, PA, Josh has two years of experience in maintenance and is excited to continue growing with the company. Recently, he mastered the skill of installing cameras on property, adding to his expanding technical expertise.
Outside of work, Josh is passionate about playing guitar and is also an accomplished fisherman. His first job was in landscaping, which sparked his interest in hands-on work.
Josh is eager to continue learning and developing his skills, and he looks forward to contributing to the success of the company while advancing in his career.
Serena
Community Assistant
Serena is a Community Assistant at College Station / 551 / Polk, from Philadelphia, PA. With a background in customer service, office assistance, and mentoring, Serena enjoys the warm, welcoming environment at College Town Communities and the opportunity to grow with the team.
When stress arises, Serena finds comfort in crafting, which has evolved into a small business. She is inspired by her personal goals and family, and believes in self-advocacy. Serena's favorite place to eat is Chipotle, where she orders a veggie bowl. She is described as genuine, ambitious, and unique.
Jackson
Community Assistant
Jackson is from Newark, Delaware, and brings a blend of leadership and clinical experience to the team. At Penn State Abington, he served as a Student Ambassador, helping organize events and support students. He also worked as a Registered Behavior Technician, providing direct care to individuals with developmental disabilities. These roles sharpened his communication skills, empathy, and professionalism.
He enjoys the positive and welcoming atmosphere at College Town Communities, especially the supportive team environment. Jackson relieves stress by hitting the gym or watching anime, and he draws constant inspiration from his hardworking family.
His go-to meals are a steak from Longhorn or Chicken Alfredo from Olive Garden. He has two dogs back home, Cooper and Max, and a cat named Milo who lives with his girlfriend. One day, he hopes to meet his favorite YouTuber, CoryxKenshin, and he’s excited to re-learn piano once he moves into 551.
Adam
Community Assistant
Adam is from Orange County, California, and is a Community Assistant at College Town Communities. He enjoys being part of a positive, supportive team and values the opportunity to help ensure operations run smoothly.
Outside of work, Adam spends his time playing soccer, hiking, and fishing. He’s motivated by the desire to grow and improve year after year, and his family continues to be one of his greatest sources of inspiration. His go-to meal? A Double Double with animal style fries from In-N-Out Burger.
If he could meet anyone, it would be Anthony Bourdain for his curiosity and compassion. Adam lives by the advice, “You don’t have to have it all figured out to move forward.” He hopes to learn aviation one day and enjoys watercolor painting in his free time. Friends describe him as attentive, genuine, and patient.
Sarah
Community Assistant
Sarah is from New Jersey and brings three years of property management experience to College Town Communities. She’s handled accounting, led tours, and supported day-to-day operations. She enjoys connecting with residents and learning the ins and outs of managing a larger housing community.
To relax, she enjoys watching TV or soaking up the sun. Her go-to meal is the chicken bacon ranch quesadillas from Chili’s. At home, she cares for four cats—Cheetah, Shadow, Booboo, and Tessie—as well as her horse, Nemo.
A fun fact: she’s currently working toward her horse show steward certification. If she could meet anyone, it would be her grandfather, who passed before she was born. Sarah lives by the advice, “If you don't ask, the answer is automatically no,” and if she could learn any skill, it would be sewing. Friends describe her as funny, positive, and bubbly.
